Layout and Formatting Project
This project done in Spring 2019, the objective was to make a magazine that was geared towards topics suited for the Miami lifestyle. While refining formatting and layout skills, I developed the spreads and advertisements shown. *I do not own the rights to these images*
I wanted this magazine to feel Art Deco paying homage to Miami’s vibrancy. The use of block shapes and color is a great way to break up text-heavy pages, as well as make the page more interesting to the reader. The hand-drawn elements to give it the magazine a personal feel. Like a Miami local is showing you around.
